From infrastructure to the kitchen.
Before founding LUYA, Chunjun (Francisco) Wang worked on AI for infrastructure at Rutgers University’s CAIT center. His background spans consumer hardware, artificial intelligence and bringing technology into everyday use.
He later met Dr. Xiao. That encounter connected his engineering perspective with a new interest in microgreens, nutrition and the possibilities of growing fresh food at home.
A question became the starting point for LUYA: what if some of our freshest food could grow right where we live?
