A little update.
Then back to your day.
Start a grow, take a look, or wait for a little nudge. You do not need to watch a dashboard all day.
Your phone. Your plants. Connected.
Growth updates let you follow the first sprouts. Open the live view when you feel like a closer look.
Illustrative notification wording. App screens are from the pre-production system.
The life behind your meal, in a little film.
A helpful nudge.
Not another thing to manage.
Turn off growth notifications or set Do Not Disturb hours. Pairing and starting a grow use the app; core growing continues if Wi-Fi drops. Remote views and notifications need a connection.
Get to know what you are growing.+
Crop descriptions and nutritional background sit beside your growing record. These references help you learn about the crop; they are not measurements of the nutrients in your individual tray.
The app also connects to Apple Health and Google Fit.
What comes with X1.+
Luya X1 uses a visual model to observe the plants and automate growing. Biological growth prediction and nutrition or taste adjustment are planned for Luya X1 Pro, a later version; they are not included in this X1 release.
Luya X1 · this release Visual plant observation, QR-code tray setup, app controls and intelligent growing control.
Luya X1 Pro · future version Biological growth prediction and nutrition or taste adjustment are planned for Pro. Availability and final details have not been announced.
Cameras in a kitchen deserve clear rules.+
The device includes cameras that observe growing trays. What is captured, how long it is retained, who can access it and how to turn features off are stated in the app's privacy settings and policy, in plain language, not buried in a long agreement.
Camera behaviour, retention and controls are covered in the privacy policy; see the Cameras, Plant Images and Visual Data section.
Start a tray. Record a harvest.
Scan your seed tray.
Scan the QR code in the app to add the tray before placing it in Luya. This is the current setup flow; NFC recognition is planned for a future version.
Record your harvest.
After harvesting, use the app to record the harvest. This clip shows the app workflow; it does not show cutting the greens.
Automatic care. Manual control when you want it.
Choose your light.
Optional manual control: adjust the light from the app when growing manually. In automatic growing mode, Luya manages the lighting without these manual adjustments.
Water with a tap.
Optional manual control: trigger the spray from the app. Automatic growing handles irrigation without these manual taps; you still refill the water tank when needed.
