What we are still learning.
Some questions need more growing cycles, independent measurements or years of use. Here is what remains open, why it matters and the evidence we need before drawing a conclusion.
What is in a freshly cut Luya tray?
Published research supports that microgreens are nutrient-dense as a category, and that storage reduces certain vitamins. Neither of those facts tells you what a LUYA-grown tray contains at the moment you cut it.
Measuring that, properly, with independent verification, is on the roadmap. Until it happens, any figure we published about LUYA-grown nutrition would be an extrapolation from someone else's crop.
Reviewed September 5, 2026. Next evidence needed: crop-specific measurements at harvest and after defined storage conditions, with fresh weight, methods and external verification. This measurement is on the roadmap; no result or completion date is available.
What could regular microgreens mean for health?
Whether eating fresh microgreens regularly changes anything measurable in a person's health is not a question we have studied, and it is not a question a growing-appliance company can answer alone.
A useful study would need qualified research partners, an agreed protocol and defined outcomes. No such human study is underway or scheduled in the record presented here.
Reviewed September 5, 2026. Next evidence needed: an appropriately designed human study with research partners. A nutrient measurement alone cannot establish a health outcome.
How reliably will Luya grow in different homes?
Internal testing happens under conditions we control. Real kitchens vary in temperature, humidity, light, water and attention. Founder 100 Program exists precisely to find out what happens across many households over months, not to confirm what we already believe.
Reviewed September 5, 2026. Founder 100 Program is recruiting. The next step is to document completed and failed cycles in participating homes, including crop, conditions and maintenance, with participant consent.
How will the hardware perform over years?
The product is pre-production. Component lifetime, service needs and long-term reliability figures will come from real deployments and testing, not from projections.
Reviewed September 5, 2026. Next evidence needed: durability testing and service records over time. The two-year warranty describes support coverage; it is not a measured product-lifetime result.

Items move off this page only when there is a reviewed result to replace them with, and the result publishes with its method and limits attached. Nothing is removed quietly.
