Research
The questions we can't answer alone.
A company measuring its own product is not independent verification. These are the questions we would like external researchers to take on, and what we can bring to the work.
Open questions
Specific questions, not 'exploring the future of nutrition'.
- Composition under controlled conditions
- Does a defined growing environment measurably change nutrient or bioactive content in these crops?
- Retention at the point of eating
- How does harvested-to-order compare with the same crop through a normal supply chain?
- Recipe effects
- Which environmental variables actually drive differences in composition, flavour or texture?
- Real-world consistency
- How much does household variability affect outcomes across many homes?

- Sensor and growth records, within an agreed and approved scope.
- Growing support
- Our growing scientists, for protocol design and operation.
- No editorial control

Terms
Independence, in writing.
- Publication rights
- Researchers publish their findings whether or not the results favour LUYA.

Formal collaborations are being arranged. No institution, laboratory or researcher will be named on this site before an agreement is signed and approved by both parties.
Get in touch
Tell us the question you want to answer, your institution and method, what you would need from us, and your expected outputs. Research enquiries are handled separately from press.
A dedicated intake form for this relationship type publishes shortly. Until then these conversations are handled individually so nothing is lost in a generic inbox.
